UPDATE: due to the Davis Fire in Reno that is affecting both club members as well as Redwood Materials employees with both evacuations and road closures, we have agreed with Redwood to postpone our tour until a later date. We will send out communication once it’s rescheduled.
Redwood Materials has invited our club to come tour their facilities where they recycle lithium batteries into raw materials that are used to build new battery packs. Due to the nature of an active factory, tour capacity is limited to 10 club members so be sure to register to reserve your spot!
NOTE: Long pants, long sleeved shirt, and closed-toe shoes are required for the tour.
